What we do...

Planet Savers Australia is a ‘new generation’ of facilitated school support programs that help schools tackle climate change, reduce resources and greenhouse emissions, create school based carbon sinks as well as save money.

Based on the successful AuSSI Vic frame work, it is aimed at helping schools develop a Carbon Management Plan and embed positive action into curriculum, student leadership and community engagement processes.

• Provides Sustainability and Energy Audits for your school or organisation

• Works with your staff and students to develop a whole of school Sustainability and Environment Management Plan (SEMP)

• Helps schools to develop clear and effective action plans

• Provides curriculum and student action team development

• Aligns energy and carbon management with learning and teaching outcomes

• Aids in the creation of student democracy and leadership with emphasis on developing a youth voice for positive action

• Develops actions plans for resource management in waste, water and energy as well as increased capacity in land care, biodiversity and habitat

• Assists schools in becoming a registered carbon sink

20% discount on Renewable Energy and Sustainability in the Curriculum Professional Learning forums and workshops for schools involved in a Solar Sunwerx Project.

These whole of staff workshops include approaching integrated curriculum, planning for VELS outcomes and resourcing. The Planet Savers team can also aid your PL teams in the writing of theme units, development of student action and the setting up of action committees and green teams.

All Planet Savers Australia educators are teacher trained, leading edge facilitators and teachers in the field of sustainability.
